Adidas joins over 150 speakers

The speaker line up at WTS16 is the biggest and most comprehensive of any wearables or IoT show. Conference pass holders can expect to hear thought leading opinion and see some of the biggest names in connected technology.

Burkhard Duemler, Director of IT Innovation Program & Projects at software giant Adidas is just one of over 150 top name speakers set to take part in the WTS16 conference programme. As one of the keynote speakers on the Performance Sports track, he joins some of the most innovative companies working in sports performance, including Fitbit, Team Sky and Premier League leaders Leicester City.

On the Smart Home & Connected Living track, delegates can hear from Giorgio Corbellini, Associate Research Scientist, at Walt Disney Research, on the entertainment juggernauts vision for ioT, as well as Joe Santana, head of smartwatch company Vector and former CEO of Timex, as well as Kassir Hussain, Director of Connected Homes at British Gas.

The burgeoning Smart Textiles & Embedded Sensors day boasts some of the leading players in smart garments, like Sensoria, Firstbeat, AIQ, Ohmatex and Forster Rohner. It will also feature a presentation from Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz of celebrity couturiers Cute Circuit.

Medical innovations are one of the biggest growth areas at WTS16, reflected by a packed Healthcare & Digital Apps track. Attendees will hear from the NHS, Qardio, Kinneir Dufort and Telefonica, as well as some of the leading innovators in the space – Hexoskin, Runtastic, Virtual Medics and Biovotion. Dr. Thomas Keller, Senior Director Digital Trials for Glaxo Smith Kline will be one of the keynote speakers.

On the AR & VR track, co-located with The Augmented Reality Show, hear from Epson, Sony, Daqri, and over 30 top name speakers in a packed two day conference. The highlight of the Mobile Payments & Retail track is a forward thinking discussion featuring Visa, Barclaycard, Samsung Pay & Skyhook.

The Wearable Disrupt & IOT Connect stages are free to attend for all visitors, and features a stellar lineup of companies, including Misfit, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Samsung, GE & Accenture.
